At LaserMEDICA™, we proudly use the Lumenis LightSheer, recognized as the gold standard in laser hair removal technology. This advanced system is effective on all Fitzpatrick skin types, including tanned skin, ensuring a safe and efficient treatment for everyone.

Our laser hair removal process is a quick, non-invasive method designed to permanently reduce unwanted hair. Typically, 6 to 8 sessions are required to effectively destroy all hair follicles. The duration of each session varies based on the size of the treatment area, ranging from minutes to hours.

LaserMEDICA™ utilizes the industry-leading LightSheer diode technology, which guarantees safe and effective results for all skin and hair types. Trust us to provide top-tier laser hair removal that meets the highest standards of safety and effectiveness.

      Botox®
Botox® is a muscle-relaxing agent derived from Botulinum toxin, designed to reduce wrinkles and fine lines by temporarily paralyzing the muscles responsible for their formation. It is most commonly used to address frown lines on the forehead but can also be effective in treating excessive underarm sweating.

The procedure involves administering several tiny Botox® injections directly into the targeted muscles. By relaxing these muscles, the overlying skin smooths out, diminishing the appearance of wrinkles. Your healthcare provider will identify the specific muscles to be treated to achieve optimal results.

Botox® is a safe procedure with minimal side effects, which may include rare occurrences of headache, flu-like symptoms, or temporary eyelid droop. Unlike other wrinkle-reducing methods, Botox® requires no downtime and causes little to no pain or discomfort. Many patients notice visible results after just one session.

      Xeomin®

Xeomin® is a refined muscle relaxant designed to smooth fine lines and wrinkles by temporarily blocking nerve impulses to overactive muscles. This results in the relaxation of the muscles and a noticeable softening of lines and wrinkles. The procedure is straightforward, typically taking less than 30 minutes with minimal discomfort, allowing patients to resume their daily activities immediately.

Full results from Xeomin® are usually visible within 3 to 7 days post-treatment, with effects lasting between 3 to 6 months. Like Botox® and Dysport®, Xeomin® may show improved results over time with repeated treatments, as the muscle becomes conditioned to relaxation.

Xeomin® (incobotulinum toxin A) is the latest FDA-approved alternative to Botox®. While it functions similarly by relaxing facial muscles to reduce wrinkles, Xeomin® differs primarily in its storage and stability. Unlike Botox®, Xeomin® does not require refrigeration, which simplifies shipping and reduces the risk of denaturation and damage. Both Xeomin® and Botox® typically show effects within three to five days, with most patients experiencing results for about four months.

      Chemical Exfoliants & Peels

Chemical peels are a sophisticated skin rejuvenation treatment designed to address damage from aging, sun exposure, and acne. These treatments help reverse skin imperfections by exfoliating the outer layers and promoting new skin growth. While chemical peels are generally safe, different types may have varying side effects. AHA peels can cause irritation, flaking, and soreness, while TCA and Phenol peels may lead to scarring and changes in skin pigmentation.

Chemical peels come in three levels, each varying in intensity and effectiveness:

Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHA): The mildest of the peels, AHA peels improve skin texture by smoothing rough, dry areas and brightening the complexion. They are effective for treating fine lines, dryness, and pigmentation issues. AHA peels, derived from glycolic, lactic, and fruit acids, can also be combined with bleaching creams to address pigmentation problems and may serve as a pre-treatment for stronger peels like TCA. Multiple sessions may be required to achieve optimal results.

Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA): TCA peels offer a deeper level of exfoliation compared to AHA, targeting more pronounced skin issues such as deeper wrinkles and significant sun damage. The recovery period is longer, and there is a risk of scarring and skin discoloration. TCA peels can be used on various skin types but require careful consideration and post-treatment care.

Phenol: The most intense chemical peel, Phenol peels deliver dramatic and long-lasting results. Ideal for treating coarse facial wrinkles and significant sun damage, Phenol peels provide a deep exfoliation that smooths out severe skin imperfections. However, they can lighten skin tone and are not recommended for individuals with darker skin. The procedure may take over an hour, with a slow recovery period that can extend to several weeks. Strict sun protection is necessary post-treatment, and potential risks include permanent skin lightening and visible lines of demarcation.

Each peel offers unique benefits depending on your skin’s condition and goals. Consult with a skincare professional to determine the most suitable option for your needs.
